How much would be gained by using a CAI on a stock 97 SS compared to the ram air hood? Anyone have any good comparison information?

roughly the same. there have been research studies done on this very topic. i'm sure u can search around LS1tech, or even Google it.

my mom had a stock 97 SS with low milege, and she junked the snorkle and went with the fipk and it definately picked up at least 8-10 rwhp, and the 1-2 shift (a4) went from a bark to an all out skuuuuuurrrrt!
