Default CC306, MTI LT1 Heads, 93 Intake

In Houston, was planning to do heads and cam, dont have the time to mess with the car, it will probably be next to go.

Comp CC306 - Few Thousand miles on it $150

MTI LT1 Heads - They are from 1997, dont really stack up to whats out there now, but they have some light porting and work done to them. Couple knicks from where a piston let go but LME & SAM checked them out and said it was cosmetic. They come with 2.02 valves in the intake and a 1.60 on the exhuast I believe Will sell for $300, thats just a little more than what stock core heads would cost you. The car they were on ran 10s with a 383 and gas.

Ported 1993 Intake Manifold $50

Neil is not selling the LT1. He'd rather sell a kidney. I guarantee it.

What ever the case maybe, this stuff needs to go, could use the cash for other things BTW what do Kidneys go for, you got two right? Wonder if its enough for some FM5s, you cant actually sell those right? I hear they make you donate them like a tool.

Neilish,

You have the cleanest 93 I've ever seen. I hate to see you sell it, but would like to see you level the playing field .

My advice? Keep the LT1 and keep it stock. Fix all the broken stuff, and enjoy having a low mileage, nice LT1 car. Their aren't too many of them. If you want to mod the hell out of something, save up and get a beater LS1 car. Your car is too clean to sell. It isn't really worth much, and its too clean for a race car. Keep it and enjoy it.

I like my LS1, but it sounds like dog crap. Anyone that likes the sound of their LSx motor "...probably doesn't know what a SBC/BBC sounds like when it crosses the traps at 8k rpm" .

96-6speed,

I like the LT1 car, mainly because I have had it for so damn long, since my jr year of highschool, been a good while. Part of me thinks I would really regret letting that car go, then the fact I wont get any money what so ever from it at all. Ideally I would like to have a Vette like yours and my 93, but thats a good couple years off.

Look at it like this, Neilish:

You can't come close to buying a car like you have for what you'd get for it. It isn't costing you any money besides insurance (and rat damage ).

I would have regretted selling my camaro if I was able to enjoy it. You still can. Keep it and just leave it in your garage. You have a nice setup. Plus, you haven't ragged it out to the point where it won't pass emissions.

Keep it .

Keep your car Neil. You will be glad you did years from now. I almost made that mistake a few times myself with my car. But I kept it and I am glad I did.

I regret letting go of my LT1, even though I upgraded to a LS1. DON'T LET IT GO!

Neil,

Don't listen to Tony. Get out! Get out while you can!

Tony's just saying that, because just like me, he's had his LTX car for years and years and years and, just like me (but even more so), he's got WAAAAY too much focking $$$$$$ in it.

I'm freakin' married to my LTX car. I can never add up all the $ spent over the years because I might
