Midwestern Members - best exhaust setup for a 6banger 02 mustang?

I ask this question, because a girl I know wants her 6 cylinder mustang to sound more aggressive and freee up some hp.


yes I know we can bash her purchase of a mustang all day, but seriously I know alot of mustang guys do as many of us have done and installed magnaflow catbacks but she wants something louder and more aggressive sounding. YES she should have bought a v8 but she didnt. oh well

so here is what I was thinking. for the same price I could install a magnaflow catback or I could go true dual with bullets and turn downs :barf: then its louder and more agressive but possibly annoying and gay sounding. Either way I just dont know what sounds best for that 6cylinder...

magnaflows will be nice. Low rumble at idle and they like to scream at WOT. I have a magnaflow on my jeep and my old roomie had magnaflows on his N/A cobra.

not sure on this one, i know i hade a flowmaster 40 series on my 2.3 ranger, it sounded decent. maby you should try a mustang fourm?

and yes she wanted to buy and ls1 but just can afford everything that goes with it, gas, tires, insurance, etc. LOL

6's sound bad with performance mufflers, maybe a just a Magnaflow muffler and call it quits.

my firebird is a v6 and sounds pretty damn good with loudmouth on it.
