Default 4L60E gone after 46K!!

y and how did this happen? I bought the car after it was wrecked and fixed with 31000 miles and it currently has 46K on it and tranny's gone. drove regularly everyday with the ocasional races. Now when me and my freind put on the headers we noticed tweaking under neath and a non-stock driveshaft from the wreck. My guess: T-boned really hard from the wreck on the driver's side, replaced rear axle (maybe thats y i have 3.42's instead of the stock 2.73's), replaced drive shaft that maybe tweaked tranny. No visible tranny case damage.

Any inputs?

I've seen this happen with as little as 12,000 miles so don't feel bad. Please take some time and view our transmissions. If you have any questions please feel free to give Chuck a call anytime. Thank you for your time, Vince.

mine went out just a couple of months ago right at about that mileage with the same symptoms. my car is modded quite a bit more than yours, and was babied pretty well. it had seen maybe 6 track passes and was rarely driven hard on the street. just took a dump on me on the way home one night. talk to vince@FLT. he is good people. sold me one of their level 4 4l60s for a heck of a deal and their tech support is head and shoulders above the rest. my car feels like it pulls 10 times harder, night and day difference.
