Default what injector size?

Ok, I have a 98 formula with the factory fuel injectors still.

I'm getting ready to install a heads/cam setup with all the bolt ons. ( ls6 intake, 80mm bbk throttle body, long tube headers, etc.)

On top of that, looking to juice 100-200shot. (nx works wet kit)

What size injectors should I go with. I was going to go with 38 lbs, they were a great price, but after doing some reading. 42lbs, but than they might be too small too.

Should I just get 60 lbs and not have to worry about it again?

All I can tell you is that I have 36s in mine with fast intake and headers and the highest duty cycle I can get them is about 60% and they should be good up to 85 percent. They stockers were running in the low 90s before I changed them. I'm thinking 42s will be fine unless you find a way to suck in a lot more air.

Do the 60s and stay ahead for the future. The price is almost the same. I did it backwards. Which in the end cost an extra 450.00.

I too have made the same mistake as Urban Legend. Do yourself a favor and dont pay for the same thing twice. Unless, you know, you're Richey Rich or something? Then get them gold plated with diamonds in em lol

If you are going to stay nitrous, then 36's (red tops on a ford car) will be fine. 60's would be way over board. Now if it was a dry kit you were spraying id be all for the 60's!

Brid does have a good point. My ocd azz wont stop adding parts. I've been modifying my junk since I bought it brand new in dec of 01. And Im still not done and may never be! So if you see yourself wanting more.... think about what you want for a little while.

I have a set of used 42's. If your interested PM me. I would say if your not going FI, then 36 or 42 would do fine. Unless as stated, you go with a big dry shot.

I'd also go with the 60's also, I've seen way to many people have to do it twice. Bob

Looks like I'm going to a turbo setup now.

so, I will probably go with 60-65lbs just to be on the safe side. Hell, I might just do 75lbs for the hell of it since they can be tuned.
