Default little help on portin n mildin plz...

i'm interested in knowin about portin n mildin.. wat is it exactly? meanin wat is it good for? how is it done? n to which parts is it done? i keep on readin about portin the TB n portin the heads n mildin them...wat other parts do apply that to? can i do it or should it be done by a professional?...

basically when you port something you remove excess material that hinders air flow. its done to throttle bodies, intake, & heads

and i think you are meaning milling the heads = removing thousandths of inches from the surface where it meets the block which creates more compression = more power

alot of people port their own throttle bodies, its relatively easy if you look at some of the writeups on that, but unless you have ported lsx heads before, you should let a professional do that.
