Default NEW TAIL PANEL OPTIONS!!! pic inside, CRAGER's CAR ps'd

I used CRAGER's car to show my idea of what how I picture a real retro tail panel look.
I've always thought that this would look better than the BERGER PANEL because it flows better with the tail lights.
You would have to fill in the CAMARO letters and key hole.
what do ya'll think?

Sweet car CRAGER.

now that i like. the tail lights provide and ending to the color. the whole panel looks dumb imo because it looks like a panel off a different car was put on as an afterthought.

I have been trying to get my little bro to do this on his red LT1 for over 2 years, but he just did the BERGER MOD.

If I had a different color camaro, I would have done this tail panel option to mine.

Here's another angle I did of PERFECT Z28's idea. Not so sure how I feel about having to paint the hatch, and having that one strip across the bottom of the tail panel stay the body color.

I have thought about that too, since it would flow with the lines of the tail lights, but it almost looks too high up that way.

Your right, I didnt take a close look at what he was talking about... I figured he was just describeing a "smoth" berger panel (filled letters).

My bad...

Nice job f50nut.

It only "seems" too high up because most are just "used" to the way the BERGER tail panel.

I don't like it. Even though it follows the lines of the tailights, it has no physical lines to follow

Not only that but you'd have to fill the letters, because they dip just slightly below the line of the tail lights

Having the letters filled in is what makes it look good.
It's just an idea, my car is black so I can't do it on mine.

But I already have the CAMARO letters and key hole filled in.
Dirty car pic.

of course you still can do it if it's black. I think berger panels look best on a black car!

that looks good, I'm just not sold on the paint lines ending so abruptly on two different panels.
