Default Need a Hand at MIR on Saturday, Nov 4th Test and Tune

Seeking a LS1/2/6/7 owner to help me at MIR on Saturday, Nov 4th Test and Tune, at Budds Creek, Maryland.

Need an interested party to shoot videos of my passes using my small HD camcorder, mounted on a tripod.

I've been working to put my bonestock C6Z06 into the 10s on drag radials. Last weekend it went 11.08, 11.10, and 11.06. So this Saturday, with a bit better launch and weather, I've got a good chance to achieve that goal. And want it on video.

If anyone is game to help, please let me know. Gates open at 10am, racing starts at 11 and should be through by 4pm.

Thanks,

Ranger

Looks like I'm towing down to MIR tomorrow. Originally planned to run Cecil, but with the cold weather they swithced to 1/8 mile.

Hope I don't get lost towing down. Looks like it's around a 2 1/2 hour tow.

Should be awesome air today! Looked up MIR...time trials start right about now, 10 am Eastern. Air is 44F, dewpoint 24F, barometer is mineshift at 30.58 and rising! Good luck. Take care.

My weather station showed -1000' D/A most of the afternoon at MIR. yea, that's pretty much mineshaft air.

Ranger just ran 10's in the C6 Z bone stock. Great times Ranger, now are you going to start some mods? Scott

We had a good outing for our first time ever running at MIR. Sorry, not a F-body, rather a G-body, all motor on 325/50 M/T ET Radials.

1.327 60'
3.840 330'
5.990 @ 113.78 660'
7.871 1000'
9.476 @ 140.08 1320'

The second pass had the car wheelie high and far enough that it ran A 1.41 60' breaking the 60' clocks with the back tires. Waiting for the photographer to upload the pics.

Mineshaft air and a sticky track. What more could you ask for?
