from what i hear, #1 is to stop the y pipe from slammin the floor with lt's.
#2, it gives you better torque to the wheels instead of loosing it streachin out the old tired rubbers.

Cool, was just wondering... I'm putting in a tubular k-member and was going with the poly mounts due to their lifespan over rubber. Never really asked about the beni's of it but, sounds good.

I've got a pair of SOLID Moroso motor mounts NIB that I will install on my 396 when we drop it in the '94.

If you want input on solid ones, hit me up in 5-6 weeks and I should have some experience with them by then.

He's right on #1 at least.

I've had experience with solid motor mounts. Took a sum of about 10 hours. It was on a ls1, so donno how different it is for us. You will want to, if not, have to take out the headers.

I put prothane polly's in my Camaro in about 3 hours. I actually could have done it quicker but I took a few brakes to check out what was happening here. I know that there will be some unbelieveers so I will add that My a/c has been deleted and so has my air pump and I did it with Kooks LT'S.
