Is this the assembled GM unit, or one of the assembled from other parts units that were being sold on E-bay?

Looks like a valid GM part #. Shows up in the GM parts system. Looks like it was not a ebay purchase.

If you ordered it through GM Parts Direct, you're looking at $622.40 with shipping and handling charges if you're not the the state of NC. I'm sure everyone knows that they rape everyone on that charge because the part(s) itself is only $510.16.
I'd like to know where he got it for $595. If that's the price shipped, then that's not bad. I would guess SDPC.

.
Actually, I wasn't aware of that! Thanks for pointing it out. I've been searching that site looking at different things, but never checked the S&H. What annoys me is: They grab your attention with a price a couple of bucks cheaper and then pound you on the 'handling' charge. Nickel and dime tricks like that ensure they'll never get my money!
Just for fun intake and heads is $1308 plus $283 S&H. :eek2:

I agree, GMPartsDirect are true bait and switch artists. They hook you with an advertisement of a reasonably priced GM part and then they charge you a rediculous price for handling. You should see how much they want to ship crate engines. :ouch:

They still cost less than a deaer, unless you have a good discount. The only nice thing about the dealer is that you get your stuff sooner.
