Center console top plate, fits a4 style?

Center console top plate, fits a4 style? HEY GUYS,
would just the top plate t56 style console piece fit over the rest of an a4 style center console, o rmust i buy the whole thing? I also need to know if the 93-97 style must be used, the car is a 95. I wanted the 98+ style but i hear the gap under the radio will be extremely noticeable.

93-96 will pop right in. The 93 does have the 1-6 picture in yellow though instead of white. Good luck finding one. It has been discontinued by GM. I payed $150 for one for my M6 swap. It was new in the box though. On average they go for $100 but may have broken clips, cracked boots, etc.
