Default Hit the jackpot at Advance Auto...

I spent some time there today while Iwas looking for a vacuum leak and I met this employee who helped me out.

Turns out this kid is some sort of LS1 whiz. He's had several Fbodies, him and his gramps built a 9 sec Trans Am last year, and he's currently on the waiting list for the new Camaro.

Together we fixed my problem right there in the parking lot, and he let me return a $133 IAC valve that I bought last week cuz it turned out to be not the problem.

How lucky is that????

Cool. I'd write the store or regional office a letter. Very rare.

like 2001NBMZ28, I'm sure the kid would really appreciate it if you let his superiors know what a good job he's done.

I've posted about it in other places but basically my RPMs hanging up. Started by looking at IAC, then cables, then vacuum leaks, then electrical (MAFs, etc...)
Went back to square one and found a stubborn throttle cable.
