Default car boggs after shifting gears?

hey i just took my car out to the track this past friday. and when i launched at about 3500rpm car spin and hooked nicely. but when i shifted into 2nd it seem to slow down til about 5000rpm then it started to pull hard like normal same with 3rd gear too.

this hasnt happen before on the street. the only thing different was i had nitto drag radials at 20psi.

also i had a 1/4 tank of gas. do you think the gas could have moved away from the pump?

this may sounds dumb, but is your clutch slipping?

you know i thought about that. but i dont think the ls7 clutch would slip. this could be but i never smelt any clutch or anything i did however on one of my runs the tranny locked up in 4th gear and i had to pump up the clutch a few times to take it out of gear.

is this what your talking about?

Are your Nittos the same size as your previous tires? If they are any taller you have lowered your final drive ratio.
