Default TST Torquer 2 (232/234) Owners

I am looking at this cam for a 347 build up. The car is my daily driver and I am gonna be off at college in a few months. I mainly want a nasty sounding idle. How streetable is this cam? The car is a M6. Is it gonna get horrid gas mileage? Thats not my main concern, thats expected, but what about just driving around town, is it a problem? Should I go milder?

Edit: Ignore the typo in the title

Yes, with a good tune its nothing too difficult to drive through. Barely bumpier than my old f13 cam was.

The torquer 2 give you a great mix of power, sound and driveability. I've been seeing alot of big numbers being put down by the torquer 2, thanks for sharing guys!

My buddy put down 425hp and 397tq with the usual bolt-ons and STOCK heads! This cam is a killer.

my stock headed Torquer 2 car made 423whp and 404wtq through a 12 bolt with 4.30s and drives just fine on the street. sounds nasty but isnt a bear to drive.

I run a stalled A4 and I absolutely love that Torquer V2/ PRC LS6 stage 1 combo I have on it now. I daily drive 6 days a week and hit the test and tune on Sundays. I don't have the surging problems that my friend have and the bitch turned a 12.0576 at 113.87 yesterday. Now if that ain't the best of both worlds what is? And by the way when someone tells you its all in the tune, believe them.
