Default 2004 GTO LS1 Fuel Setup Ideas???

I have looked at the nasty kit and would get it but looking for something a little more cheaper at the moment due to the fact I just ordered my OFI kit and still have to order a meth kit also.

I need to be able to hold 600-700rwhp

hi
you will need 2 welbro 255 in tank and fule rag. and i raturn line.
make the stuck feeding line the return and the new one feeding line and make it large.
then you will need larger fule rials and larger injectors lik 60lb.
you will be fine then.

good luck.

(2) welbro 255 in tank

Thought there was only room for one? Can you give a little more detail?

i know you will install another.
ok you will take out the internal fule reg. that located in tanke and install 2 welbro in there. then make a y conecctione btween the two to the feeding line, and befor the fule rials install a new fule reg.
hope that will help

good luck.

8.1L bucket mod and a Walbro and Boost a Pump should hold ya. but you will most likely be pushing the envelope anything over 650ish. If your goals are loftier, definately going to need a complete custom system.

I went with a two stage pump approach, 8.1L bucket and walbro, for normal operations and an in line SX Performance pump tied to a BAP. when in boost. Specs call for 115 GPH @16DCV,

Yeah I was looking at the 8.1L bucket mod. With fuel rail and fuel pressure reg I think it would be good to that hp range.

I am just trying to get out of spending $1349.00

With the horsepower you are looking to make, I would go with the Nasty kit. We see 600 rwhp on my Mustang Dyno as the upper limit to the stock fuel lines. Bob

If I got with the nasty kit I should not need a boost a pump correct?

Give Nate a call, your comment is going to depend on which kit you choose.

Some real quick calcs, show that to meet your goals (600ish RW equates to 700ish flywheel)your required fuel flow demand will exceed 60 GPH, this is going to exceed that of a single walbro @ 13.5 DCV.

You will either need a BAP, lower your goals, or step up to the next options in Nates line up.

The last thing you will want to do is have insufficient fuel flow capability. Personally in an FI setup, I would not want to be in a situation where everytime I mashed the pedal, I knew my fuel system was maxed out! factoring in a little cushion will add to peace of mind, and most likely engine longevity.....JMO.

I went with a full aeromotive kit on mine. A1000 pump, filter, fuel rails, boost ref regulator, and pieced the rest of the lines fittings etc. I set my return up just like hesham said. Other than the pump being really loud, AWESOME KIT!! Will support well over 600 rwhp.
