My dad has a CTS-V. He is curious if anyone has installed an automatic in a CTS-V? Don't ask me why, but he would rather have an automatic.

im sure it can be done but might take quite a bit of work including getting a new ecu among other parts

Do a google search, I saw somewhere that Tim Allan "the actor" built one.

Doing the wiring/computer would be a piece of cake, as for shifter assembly and other inside stuff that would just be Regular CTS parts, and then running and making/using the cts parts for driveshaft/ trans would need to be a 4l60e.
