Does such a thing exist? I guy I know claims that he put a LS2 with an LS7 conversion kit in his truck. To my knowlege the LS7 is a completely different block from the LS2.

Yes, the blocks are different to some extent. I'm not sure what a conversion kit would entail, besides an entire engine swap!

The LS2 is a 4" bore and the LS7 is a 4.25" bore. LS7 heads will not fit on a ls2. However ETP makes a small bore LS7 head that will fit a 4" bore.

LS7 is a 4.125 bore. Probably missed the "1" key. The LS7 heads will fit any type LS? engine, just gotta have the right machining done (ie: pistons). They will just work better with a bigger bore.

opps missed one key :bang: , thanks for the correction.
Yeah the heads can fit any LSx block, I just assumed he was talking about stock bore size.

I have no idea what if anything is done to his truck. What he said was he swapped a LS2 motor with a LS7 conversion kit into it. I've never heard of heard of anything like that.
