What are the winters like?
A lot of snow, really cold??

Would it be possible to drive a corvette or fbody without a problem during the winter?

Thanks,

I'm north of D.C., in Frederick. I bought a daily driver just for the winter. This will be my 3rd winter up near DC. I hate it, I'm from the south. I can't wait to go back. Screw D.C. and Maryland.

I would say it is a very rare thing for someone to be daily driving their fbody in the winter around here. We don't have that many bad snows at all, but when it does snow, the shit lingers around for friggin ever, as well as all the salt and sand on the road. About two years back we had a pretty decent snow storm in late January I believe with about 2 feet of snow. It was plowed to the sidewalks within the next day or two, but it remained there until March. :thumbsdow

I'm from Frederick too, own the SS & 3 4wd pickups. You can guess what I drive when the chance of snow is over 0%.

As long as u have good all weather tires its not too bad... i hate how the dam salt + sand sticks around FOREVER though... I think ive gotten stuck once since ive owned my bird, and thats like 2 and a half years
