how much is a bare ls1 block worth?

a buddy of mine has like 4 just sitting at his house and i was interested, but i wanted to get an idea of what they are worth. thanks

GM sells bare ls1 blocks new for $1295 lol, even an ls2 block is little more than half that, used they probably arent worth much...

This is odd. Less than a year ago you people where drooling about 350$ for a used LS1 Block.
