Default Electrical problem

Ok, as I was leaving school today I noticed that my car has developed some sort of electrical problem. I will try to describe it as fully as possible and would appreciate any help. Ok, when the lights are on, the right turn signal illuminator stays dimly lit(just not quite fully bright, but almost), however, the turn signal outside the car is NOT illuminated. The control switch still activates the signals and they work fine with the lights on(the right one is a bit slower than normal). When the lights are off, the guages stay dimly lit unless I turn the interior light switch all the way off. With the lights off, the right turn signal indicator is not lit, and the left turn signal functions properly. With the lights off, if I turn the right signal on, it blinks rapidly and dims the radio clock every time it blinks. I tried disconnecting the battery, but that was no help . I hope that this will be one of those problems that clears itself after my car sits for a while, but it's not looking good. Any advice, or has anyone had a similar problem?

It sounds like you might have a bad alt, or possibly a loose ground somewhere. idk. ive never had any of those problems.

I was thinking of the alt too, but I pray it isn't cause alts can be kinda pricey. Anyone else got any thoughts on this?

Ugh, I went under the car today and pulled out the turn signal bulb, the bottom of the bulb was melted and the socket was all charred inside. So, looks like i'll need a new socket on top of fixing the electrical problem. Car goes to the electric shop tomorrow A.M. I'll let ya'll know what the problem was.
