Default Need help bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

I went to minieke to get a coustom y pipe made.And i forgot to leave my key's.So they needed to move it out the shop to work on other cars.And automatic so they said they disconected something from the tranny and now when i i get on it the ****** tranny grinds.Help me out tell me what you think could be wrong.

Probably the driveshaft, and then hooked it up 180* off.

I duno cus what ever they did they hooked oi back up with pliers and lifted the car up wit a jack

They probably took the cable off of the transmission so they could move the shift mechanisim out of park. Then, when they put the cable back on, they probably didn't get it adjusted properly.

That's my best guess.

Thats what they did how do i adjust it.

You sure it's not more of a vibration, or a rattle? Cuz if they just unhooked the selector, it wouldn't grind, unless they gorilla torqued on it to find neutral.

heres something a little better....take it back to them....since THEY did something to it...and tell them to fix it

Well, I'd make them fix it, but that's just me.

The easy way is to look and see where the bolt was before. There will be a mark or a clean spot, loosen it up, line it up and tighten it down in that spot. That's probably all you need to do, unless there is other damage or something has been damaged by driving it while out of adjustment.
