Default Narrowed 9" ?

Im looking at buying a 9" from a local shop. They have a jig for a 3rd gen camaro, and as I understand they are 3" narrower. Will this setup work with the stock fenderwells and some banging with the proper wheel, or will I want to have them lengthen it to stock width? If this setup will work what drag wheelwould you recommend for a 6speed car? Right now I am running OEM ZR1's.

I have 3" taken off EACH side of a originally stock length 12 bolt. I run a 4" BS for the street rim, and 5" for the Convo Pro. I'm sure someone here knows the total length of the housing, from end to end. That's what you are going to need to know to be sure. Or simply call Strange or Moser & ask them the overal length, or as of that rear will fit.

I'm sure the rear will fit your car, it would just be a matter of finding a rim that fits best. ttt for you..

Yah I kinda figured that would be the case. Maybe ill just see how much extra it would be to widen it to stock width.

We need to get a stickey about narrowed rears and bs on your wheels. It seems like this gets asked a few times a month.
