swap out 5.3 for LS-1 in 4x4 crew cab Hi, i was just wondering about this. does any of the 5.3 electronics match up to the LS1 (wiring, computer,) or do i have to use the ls1 equipment? Also, what about the mounting of the engine, is it the same? and which fly wheel should i use? Its the fly by wire TB and is a non-emissions( no egr, no AIR). Its a 04' 1500 with 4l60e. Any suggestions or comments will greatly appreciated!!

all you really have to do is swap over the intake and use all the truck electronics and youll be good to go. all your accs. should swap right over to the ls1 block also . then just get it tuned and be good to go or get the 5.3l heads cleaned up and cut a little and put those on the ls1 for some more compression and power .
