Default 10 degree advance

let me start by saying hello this is my first post.
i have just bought a 02 sunset met Trans Am Ram Air with 49,000 miles on it.
it has a flowmaster muffler ,but it also has the exhaust dump, and a K&N filter with a clear lid i am guessing it is after market.
i just bought the vinci programmer and i'm not sure if i sure bump the timming 10 degrees

^ yea what he said! lol call around or check to see if you have any vendors/performance shops around you.

then sell that programmer, and take ur car to one of those shops and have them do any advancing!

now heres my .02..........buy some pacesetter long tube headers for $300 and a catback system to replace the horrible one your car came with! then Re-tune your car and enjoy the sweet sound of LS1! ---dont take my .02 personal, just recomended

I run the Vinci on cam#2, power enrichment 10%, timing increase 10%.
The setting is for 10% not 10 degrees. I end up with 28 total.

yeah, it's 10% not 10*.

ok thanks for the info.with that being said sould i bump the fuel up 10% with a stock cam?

without having a track, dyno, wideband o2, or at least a scanner to read o2 voltages, you just have to try different settings and see what the butt-o-meter results show.
