Default will removing the plastic below the radiator increase MPH in 1/4?

will removing the plastic below the radiator(that helps to reflect air to the radiator) increase MPH in 1/4?and yes it is a race only car.

i wouldnt think that it would make enough of a difference to warrant it, depending on the set up (FI, N2O or NA) couldnt it be possible that a temp increase due to that no longer being there could possibly cause detonation?

DONT KNOW...BUT IT DOES HAVE ALOT TO DO WITH COOLING THE RADIATOR....

I don't run the deflector because it can false trigger the beams on the top end. I didn't notice any MPH gains, but my cars don't MPH that much anyway (10.5's @ 122-23 mph) I have never had any problems with temperature, but I do run my fans manually.
