*Seafoam: startup and idle videos*
Ok, so I decided to go ahead and film the smoking process so all the rookies to seafoam out there will understand what it is supposed to look like. The sun caused a bit of a glare in some parts, but you will get the general idea halfway through the second video. If you don't get it by the third....I don't know what to tell you.
This is the startup and walk around...yes I talk to my car
You can hear it sputter just a bit here and there. It is just working it's way around.
*Note * I have already done this once at the beginning of the year so I didn't have that much build-up to burn off for everyone.
This is about 4-5 minutes into the idle.
After about 30 seconds into this I decided to inflict the smoke manually. My car idles at 950 rpms so I hold it around 1400-1600 rpms for a few moments. By this point the neighboors are starting to wonder if I will ever shut the car off.
15 minutes in...Right before I take it out for a spin to leave the streets a smokey jungle
You can really tell how bad it is smoking when that dark colored car drives by. The sunlight is defusing about 40% of the smoke just for the record. It travels roughly 6 houses down the street before slowly disappearing.

About 15 minutes into my drive around town the car really starts to feel a tad more peppy already. I hammered it a few times and left killer smoke on the on-ramp to 820! Also: People will try and get your attention to let you know that you are on fire. Again, this is a perfectly normal thing. It will look like you are driving down a dirt road at 100 miles an hour in your rearview mirror for a few minutes after you take it out. Normal. Brought it back home. Let it sit and idle for about 3-4 minutes while discovering my passenger side window motor is trashed. . Shut the car off when the smoke was almost entirely gone.
I did the full treatment this time around. Full can in the tank, half can in the oil, and half in the brake booster line. Good fun...Enjoy!

I know its not needed, but every 5 or so oil changes I throw a can of it in with my oil, just regular maintnance to make sure the engine stays clean. I work at a parts place, so I get it cheap as hell. Funny though, I have a can of it sitting next to a case of oil to do this weekend.
Edit- not an entire can before you think im a dumbass and my engine is going to go lol
