Default New 60mm Piston Driven Wastegates!!

Just letting you guys know, we now have the new 60mm Piston driven gate. They are designed for extreme abuse, and high flowing , high temp setups. They are the only gates that are both universal for gas and diesel setups. They use no diaphrams and are the highest flowing units on the market. The piston drive is unique and built to survive 150+psi. These will easily hold low boost as well, even with the LARGEST thumper units on the market. We have our first batch on the way already. Compare it to the other 60mm's on the market and these will blow them away, plus they come with the springs as well to adjust internal gate pressure.

The units are 609.99.

The standard wastegate uses basically a balloon. As pressure fills the cap it inflates and pushes the balloon into the valve and actuates it (remember the spring sets this pressure). What happens with this is as heat increases the elastics of the balloon change you get changes in boost. Also if you were to plot piston actuation vs time you would see reaction is slower since you have to fill the space and effectively inflate it. Also as boost pressure rise you get blown balloons...hehe.

The basic design of this gate is like a piston in a cylinder. Air pressures down on a stainless piston which is connected to the valve with something like a connecting rod. So their is no wait time, heat is not a problem, and boost pressure can be darn near limitless. Also if you have to rebuild it then all you do is snap a new ring in like a piston ring and your done.

If it will handle 150+PSI that should answer your question

With what the total number of members is at right now (77,177) you would get

$385,885

Factor in paypal fees of 3% that would be $11,576.55 for paypal and would leave you a grand total of...
374,308.45

Id just ask for checks and save over 11k

Yeah I was bored...

hehe, Tials are POS's. I tried running a Tial 46 with my S88, and couldn't get the boost under 12psi and it was all over the place. Switched to a Turbosmart progate and it went down to 8psi. But I want a little larger to vent later for a bigger turbo. So DR turbo, I'll be calling today for sure

Is this a JGS Turbo wastegate? It looks identical to the JGS unit and so does the price. The JGS units aren't knock offs and are more compact than any gate out there.
