Default Question about transmission

I'm about to sound like an idiot, but I'll be honest, I'm coming from the Ford side. I found a 2001 Camaro SS completely stock with 38,000 miles on it and I couldn't pass it up. It's an automatic and I I was wondering if someone could tell me what kind it is? Thank you all for your time and I look forward to learning a lot about these cars.

Matt

It's also my understanding that it already has the LS6 intake manifold? I thought I read somewhere that they changed to that for 2001 and 2002.
