Default Carnage and new parts!

I lurk more than I post.......
Ok, going to show you all the bearings and some new parts that I got. Thank God for family members that like to help as much as possible and for a Grandfather who is friends with a machinist. Most pictures are of the main bearings and a few rod bearings.

New rods and crank...Eagle rods and crank

mmmm, forged rods...FINALLY!

Eagle Crank

Forged pistons should be here tommorow also. Then I gotta buy a lot of new gaskets and some new "tougher" motor mounts. Gotta do some paying back also.
My TD's I built for the car...can you tell I had an oil leak?

Forged pistons showed up today. Went ahead and got the heads cleaned up too. Now I need to order some solid motor mounts and get some gaskets to get this thing back together in a few weeks.

Here is your Spun Main Bearing. I don't have the pic of the #4 Rod Bearing that led to this. That one was in a few pieces in the bottom of the Oil Pan..

I'll have to find them, they went out with the old Motor. The new one is in now, and running very nicely. Killed a Turbo WRX Impreza the other day, and that was me with partially bald tires shifting it at 5,000 RPM's. It's supposed to shift at 6,100..
