It is not ideal but will work OK long as it is a good converter. Your sig says Vig which is certainly a good one.

I daily drove my Caprice for nearly a year in snow and light towing with a 2800 Edge racing converter and 2.93 gears, the extra weight would have made it "worse" than what you will experiance. When you get to the gears the drivability will improve somewhat but as I said it will be fine for now.

^ What?

Stalls are easiest on the stock rear, because the stock rear is tuff for the most part, and built to last... not perform... but 3.23's are good
Yes an aftermarket stall is going to be a little harder on the drivetrain, but not like you think.
People who have switched to higher gears have had to replace them due to broken teeth etc...
People who haven't switched gears means the stress is going on the transmission... which is ok.
A stall is a great mod as long as your tranny shifts good. Throw a Tranny Cooler on there with some new fluids, and youre good to go.

it's a tossup but some people will have problems with that high unless they tune it out.

you'll love the stall - Don't hesitate on getting it or putting it in if you've already got it. Stock gears are fine with a stall. I used to run a 2800 with 273's and it was awesome, pulled like a SOB. You'll be fine with the 323's for sure.

only thing i can say about a 2800 though is it will probably leave you wanting a little more most likely, but you'll have a bunch of fun with it

I had a 2800 with the stock 3.23's and i was fine...made a nice difference in time too! I have a 3500 on the way as of today, but i will be running 3.73's with that converter.
