Default Will these heads work?

well i have a friend with a 2006 silverado SS (6.0 liter) and he is selling his heads off of it and will they fit on my 1998 Z-28 camaro??

yes these are 243 heads, the same as an ls6 head. I'm not sure if they have the light weight valves in them or not. I'd spend a little extra money to have one of our sponsors do a port polish and valve job and put a bigger cam in your car if you are bothering to do the head swap.

yeah i was going to get the heads for 550 and a friend of te family owns a shop n does all that stuff. Will they be good with a cam or do a blower?

the combustion chamber is smaller than your current LS1 head, so you would have a higher compression ratio, this would not be good for boost, but it would be a very nice set up for a decent sized cam and a small (100-175) nitrous shot. That and some suspension rear end and safety equippment should get you into the tens. It gets expensive fast though so watch out.
