Anyone else think it'd be a good idea to have a For Sale section in the Forced Induction section?

It'd make buying parts alot easier then just using the search function :)

Sub forums for the forsale section could work great.

I think it's a great idea. I think sometimes people end up w/ an extra couple of silicone connectors here, a v-band clamp there, etc that they don't feel is worth trying to sell in the regular for sale section. But if they had a place here, I think they'd be more likely to do it, and save someone else a few bucks in the process.

Classifieds forums do not pay the bills around here. Ebay is your friend :)

Realistically, we could add a classifieds forum to every single forum here, but it would be a pain in the ass to manage those forums too. I buy and sell plenty of FI stuff in the regular classifieds forum.

No point in adding non-tech related forums to a strictly tech-based section.
It breaks up the continuity of the site. Doesn't this belong in the suggestions
section? ;)

Cant get any bandwagoning in the suggestion suection!!
The onyl prob i have with the regular FS section is that its soo popular that it takes 10 minutes for ur post to be ont eh second page. And by the end of the day if noone noticed it its on teh 6th page.
Im sure the FS section doesnt make u any money but im sure the FI section doesnt either. Its gettin peopel to teh site that does. Not that u dont know that but u made a pretty broad statement.
I havent a clue what kinda time it takes to up keep a single new section, let alone 1 for ever catagory. I suppose it silly as ud end up gettin alot of people that jsut wouldnt find what they might need since it could be spread out over all the different sections. Maybe if it was all linked back the the FS section but seperated by what catagory the posted deemed it that would be easy. Beats me. GL

Ebay should work just fine for you. Our classifieds are a free service, and the paying sponsors actually don't care for them. I'm sure all of them would prefer selling 100% new parts to everyone instead of seeing the used stuff getting sold.

I usually have no problem selling or buying stuff on the classifieds forum as it is, and I've sold thousands worth.

Keep in mind this is a tech site first and foremost. Ebay is a classifieds site. We only offer it as a free service here. If you guys are willing to pay to advertise the parts like on ebay, then we can make as many categories as you wish!
