Built tranny before Torquer v2 install?

Default Built tranny before Torquer v2 install?

Im just about ready to install my Torquer v2 and was starting to get a little paranoid about if my tranny will hold.Should i save money and get a built 4l60e before i put this cam in?........Any guys with similar cams on stock trannys have any input on this?........Thanks

Come on guys...no one has any advice?...no one has a big cam with stock 4l60e?

Hi personally and not because im trying to sell a tranny , if money was there I would do the tranny in the beginning , I know its not as fun as a cam of gears ect but its what everything must travel through and nothing sucks worse that getting the power you wanted only to have the trans crap out on you before you get to play

thanks for the input,i was actually just looking at your site and was thinking of doing the tranny first.What do you recomend for my application,Level 1 or level 2? Heads will be comming next.

if i had to do it over again i would. been fighting with the trans since install of the cam.

i broke a hardened 4L65E output shaft on my second run with my torquer 2 cam

Ouch! I havent seen to many of those break even stock over the years , In fact only one ever but it had strees cracks when magnafluxed
