Default I had a Blast racing at Richmond Yesterday **Vid Added**

I went up for our track Rental that had been rained out two weeks before..
I knew i was only going to practice the launch and my 1/8 mile runs even though it is a 1/4 mile track...... No shut down.... (Same Track Mightey Mouse crashed at)
My Buddy chris towed me up there and we had problems from the get go.
I had burnt two plug wires the night before and i was a lil low on oil and my dunbass didnt get the oil fill neck on my fabbed valve covers so i have to take them off to put oil in the car..... long story short.... blew out/pinched a valve cover gasket and had oil everwhere....
Towed the car to the track.... found a local Chevy dealership and got the valve cover gasket fixed...... to find that i had burnt two more plug wires on the 35 mile drive i had made that morning....
The damn plug wires dont like to seat well with the fire sleeves on them
Thank god i had brought two extra's with me... so its now 11am.... rental started at 9am..
Made two passes everything good to go.
We had a quick 8 Race and man was she fun... the car took the hotlapping but man do i need to had a fan to the tranny cooler... Transbrake launches create ALOT of heat..... and i need a Linelock too
My closest Comp. was a Blue C6 ZO6 with Exhaust and a APS Clutch on CCw's
Bad Bitch... 10.82 with those mods...
In the end i won .......and on the brakes right before the 1/4.. no shutdown.... low 10's on the brakes before the 1/4 all day.... no 9's yet and prob wont till Spring when i plan to run at MIR.
Here are a few Pic's a Board memeber on here took. Thanks Ritz
Ill edit the vids later and post up the slips too.... pic's 4 now....
Kyle

Nice.... RD is an old track but after a few seasons it feels like home just being out there.

I would have come out Friday to check you guys out if I wasn't still stuck in OH for work

Wow, there really is no shutdown......

Seems like a track for 11 second and slower cars only.

The shutdown room isn't THAT limited... there are lots of mid-low 9second cars that run there every week and the occasional 8sec beasts as well.

Glad to hear your out having fun. Looked like a nice day.

Congrats on the win.

What were your 1/8 times and mph?

That track looks scray as hell past the 1/8.
