Default short belt question

I'm only running the alternator off the crank, but i'm having a problem finding a short enough belt. I can find a 3 rib belt that will fit perfect or I can get a 4 rib one that is a little longer. The4 rib will work if i remake the alternator brackets. Do you all think the 3 rib will be enough since its only running the alternator?

Its not a factory engine set up that ever had a tensioner or anything. Its all one off to clear the turbo headers, intercooler pipes, etc.

I see!! three should be enough. I would put it on the back three ribs so if it does move any, you have some room in the front.
