Default T76 and Nitrous

Ok I have a tti kit and I'm only runing about 4 psi. I want to ad some spray so I put in the 57 n2o and left in the 41 fuel (which is from the 175 shot) will I but running way too rich or is that just safe? This is an NX kit, they suggested that I use a 35 or 31 when I was NA, anyone know what would be good?

57n/34f is a 125rwhp shot, a 41 fuel is probly too much, at least n/a that shot will probly get you 200rwhp on top of boost id start at a 50 shot and work up. remember when spraying your ait will be around 30 degrees-that makes turbos happy

you usually see twice the advertised gains on a FI car. So if you spray a 50 shot you'd prolly see 100HP. Obviously this isnt always the case but a lot of cases.

41 pill is way to much fuel for a 57 jet. 55-60fuel pressure is
52-28 100
62-33 150
73-38 175

install a 52-31 would even be rich, but in a FI car it might like it. And make the boost and car jump really nicely.

Could I then use the bigger shot and up the boost? Is there any rule of thumb relationship? Probably not huh?

Rule of thumb, when the crank hits the ground you know you went to far. Really start small, for every Hp worth of nitrous you go up, boost will also go up. The nitrous is expanding and the boost is trying to compress.
I think you would start off with a 50shot or so. @4 -5 psi you not talking a ton of power. lets say 350-400 depending?
Also 50 is more like a 75. The super cooling and extra power you will get.

Sounds like an opps waiting to happen. Sounds like you're trying to use a Wet Kit to make up for the fact that you don't have enough fuel injector to turn the car up to 7-9 psi and run it on pump gas.

Do you have a boost controller of some kind, or are you just living off of the 4/5lbs waste gate spring? If you don't have a boost controller, the WG is just going to open up anyway and vent away the some of the FI/Nitrous gains.

One race is not worth the problems running nitrous will cause if you don't have the proper setup and time to dial it in.

Raise the boost!

BTW, everyone says that Nitrous makes a good intercooler, but you can bet that the engine is directionally LESS safe when spraying nitrous in combination with forced induction.

Well I didn't get to run with N20. The guy that brought the bottle didn't have the fitting for me to connect it up. So I raced the Vette with both of us off the bottle and I beat him. I did 8.645 @90 mph in the 1/8th on 4 psi. Ofcourse I had no traction...anyway thanks guys I'll let u know when she blows :-)

I still don't understand why you don't raise the boost instead. . .

you know you should probably start off with a 50HP shot and see how it runs. What is your cr now?

Is the car tuned properly? If not you might as well take a blindfold, and try shooting at a bullseye target.

Well I sprayed a 125 shot, felt AMAZING!!!! But had some issues with WOT switch where n20 was staying on between shifts and even part throttle which is VERY bad, so if the engine is still running tomorrow, maybe I'll connect it properly and take it to the dyno.
