General Maintenance & Repairs - Heard it lose a cylinder

I was going about 68mph and I heard the normal tune of the engine change tune. I had seafoamed earlier in the day but I highly doubt that was the cause. Got it home and scanned due to the SES light from hell shining ever so bright. P0306 cylinder 6 misfire, I swapped the 6 coil with the 2 coil and tried to see if the code moved and it did. Do coils go out randomly or will I see more going out. Kinda long winded but I would hope you Guru's can lend me some advice.

Actually in my experiance it's pretty rare to blow a stock coil out on these cars. I've seen so many with lots of miles on them without issues. How many miles on your car? Probably just a random failure.

That's weird I don't think I've ever seen a thread of a coil failing.
