Default ls2 timing chain vs gm HD chain

i was wondering if they were the same thing cause someone told me they were, just that the gm HD timing chain was cheaper? is that true? i dont want to pay less for somthing that is not as good as the ls2 timing chain.

I havent heard much about the HD timing chain. Most people just go with the LS2, only like $30 from one of the sponsor on here. Thats what I got in my car. Oh, by the way, I like your ride, I was born in McAllen but raised in Pharr......

I think the GM HD chain is the stock one in the LS6. It has a different PN than the LS2 chain. I paid about $40 for the LS2 chain, and it was way bigger than the stock one.
