Default Pics of my LT1 taillights on my 2001

I have wanted to do this for the last year and finally got around to it. Thanks top all the members who helped me a while back.

For others who are interested, you simply need to cut a little bit of the plastic away where 2 of the bulbs fittings are on the actual housing. The pigtails are slightly different so you need to make room.

I love it....all reds baby!

ive thought about this but imo the way the lt1 lights light up looks old. its all squared off and not clean looking like the ls1 lights. during the day though they look much better.

The "Candy Corn" lights don't look better, even when they are cleaner/newer.
They don't match the car at all.

I agree about them looking a little older, but I think the LS1 lights look more squared.....since they actually have BLACK LINES SQUARING off the separate lights.

To each his own. I am stoked

lol hwats it matter, you never hafta look at the brake lights bein lit bc youre the one that drives the car. i just put the LT1 lights on my LS1 car and they look much better, they flow perfectly with the body lines. im gonna VHT the red section so it blends in perfect with my berger panel.

this isnt sometihn that should require a stick tho, all you gotta do is make 2 of the holes a little bigger with a dremel so the sockets will fit in them.
