Help!!! Noise Coming From Engine Hey everybody well I went to start my car after 6 months and I put a new exhaust (the last one had a bad exhaust leak which you could not hear anything over it) and a new trans and clutch in it. Ive been hearing a sound coming from the drivers side valvetrain area dont know if it just occured or if it was pre-existing due to the loud exhaust leak I had before. The car is running great
So far I have
1.Put a smoke tester to see if it is a exhaust leak
2.Plulled the valve covers off to see if the rockers were loose.
3.Pulled the push rods to see if they were bent.
and i dont think it could be a bent valve be cause its not missfiring.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON OR HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS.
