just go into a body shop in ur town and ask for an estimate. ive never had a car painted, but im guessing it will probably well over 3000, maybe even up to 5000? why do u want to change it? u have no idea how hard it is to keep up with a black car, SWIRL MARKS all over!!!! i say keep it white, and add some black accents, hockey stripes, a manta stripe, something like that.

I'd say $2000-$4000 would be an average... Any less I'd be afraid of the outcome but of course there are plenty of people willing to charge you more (and some I'm sure would have much more attention to detail for the price)...

You are WAYYY better off selling your car and buying a black one... If you're dead set on keeping yours and painting it why not paint it a cool, non factory-like color???

Would you have them pull everything out, engine interior ect. If so you are going to be looking at a very LARGE amount. Just materials for that much coverage would be close to a 1000.00. , for good quality.

This would be the only way someone might not know it was white at one time.

Now if you were gut the car and take the body to them you could save yourself a bunch.

Depends on much work you are willing to do.

For jambs and entire bay, figured 4-5K. If you want black that bad, get another car.

Id have to agree, then again it all depends on the area. Here in my town a guy quoted me 4600 for exterior only. But that was making the car perfect. He was going to have to keep it for like 4 months. Like stated above. If THEY are going to be removing the motor and stuff, then its going to tack on a ton. Im getting mine re cleared in Dec and that is going to be 1K. Thats if I remove the spoiler, headlights and taillights. No prob. THen again Mako could do it for like 400. But they wouldnt take anything out. Your motor would be all black as well. HEHE Good luck

My car used to be candy red but the original color was black, and they painted my car black for $1400. He usually charges about 2,000 but since his my cousins friend he gave me a discount.
