Default Sell or not!!

Cliffnotes version bought car 8 years ago insurance burn in front, wife, kid in that order, wife leaves, car sits, one year ago reconstruction begins you have lt1 with cam everybolt on all goodies complete 98' ws6 conversion and you love it. It's a new car w less than 8200 miles since finished and no payments. you get a serious offer for 7k the guy has cash do you sell or not. New friggin everything Oh it's a 95 v6 roller salvage title like most of us here care one bit about the title. Chances of another hotrod to replace it are slim. Wanting to build a house in the next few years so this would go in the piggy bank.

The fact that its paid for seals the deal. Unless you are just hurtin' for cash you will kick yourself later. Even when you start to build your house, if it comes down to needing cash then at that point you can think about a sale of the car but for now I would hold on cause each time you see a hotrod go by your going to wonder what you were thinking when you sold yours.

No payments + All that work put into it + the fact the motor has 8200 on it = Keep it.

I thought about selling my bird before but really... why? It's paid off and I like it.

My sentiments exactly. The worst part is that if I sell it the guy is a customer of ours so when it comes in for service guess where it's coming.
