Wheels & Tires - Question?? yes, I did read the sticky, just unsure of...

I have the 18 x 10.5 C5 Zo6 rims. Right now I am running 275/ 40 / 18 all the way around. Questions: will a 265/ 40 / 18 be to skinny to fit on a 10.5 inch rim for the fronts and will a 295 / 45 / 18 be to much side wall and cause rubbing for the rears ?? I will beat the fender wells in if I have to, just wanting a lil bit more side wall for the rear, I could go w/ a 295/ 40 / 18 but the price is actually more than the 45 series tire. Thanks.

A 265 is narrow for a 10.5" wide wheel. I ran 295/35ZR18 on my Z06 wheels. Only had to massage the inner wheel well surface.

I just wanted to run them as a front tire only, the rears will be a 295....the price is what I was looking at if they would fit.
