Default What spark plugs for a naturally aspirated 415 ci?

I'm building a naturally aspirated 415 ci L92. This will be max effort drag only setup. I ran the popular NGK TR-55s with my old setup, which was a practically stock engine. I'm sure with the new setup, will require a different plug. What do you suggest? Thanks.

I haven't decided, but I'm thinking somewhere between 11-13:1. As far as timing, not sure until I get it strapped to the dyno and see where it makes best power at. Does that help?

This isnt going to be a pump fuel motor then. I assume like VP's C12 or C16?

Why is 11-13:1 too much compression for 93?

11:1 and 13:1 are miles apart in terms of tune and required fuel.

Great LSxx tuners can do some amazing things on pump gas nowadays, but 13:1 might just be pushing it a little too far, even for their genius.

So what's the max compression that can be used on 93 unleaded pump gas?

You can run more compression if you use a cam with a lot of overlap; your dynamic compression ratio will usually be lower with a bigger cam - i've heard to shoot for high 8:1 DCR.

In terms of just static compression, probably keep it below 12:1

So I guess I need to wait on plugs until I decide what compression I'll be running. I didn't know that had anything to do with it. Thanks for the info. When its decided, I'll update and then we can go from there.
