Default What Y-Pipes will or will not work on the eBay headers?

What catted y pipes and what ORY's will fit?
by just looking at the TSP Catted Y it looks as if it'll fit, maybe some slight modification needed ...

anyone running those headers with cat's yet?

Custom fabbed is gonna be the way to go. Most y-pipes are a PITA to deal with on certain brands of headers.

was kind of hoping to avoid that... there are rumors they're going to make one themselves, but seriously, who knows for sure with how well the company contacts people... I've already basically decided to buy the headers and just get the emissions **** hacked off and patched once I find a good stainless welder.

seems like my entire exhaust is going to be custom

Well the TSP doesnt not wrk we know that for sure. Supposedly the XS ypipe was schedualed to be released at the end of November. If I were you I would at least wait till then and see what the dal is. I am actually in the same boat. I have the headers, I am just going to wait untill december to see if they release thier Y.

Also, aparently the JetHot Ypipe works perfecty for these headers so that may be another option. We shall see...

here is some info I received from them.....

We do sell a catted y-pipe. It actually comes with removable cats. They
are high flow cats that are made by an OEM manufacturer. We sell them for
$475. This includes our sterling silver finish.

I am running those headers and I decided it was easier to just fab one up myself with some extra 3 inch tubing I had laying around. First off, the headers needed for a small block of aluminum to be removed from the block and a little massaging (read beating with a f'ing hammer) over the starter was required, even after I "clearanced" my starter body a little. This may be due to my using an 04 GTO LS1 in my TA...who knows. Second, the driver's side header actually pointed up a little instead of being level with the ground like the passanger's side. This caused me to have to weld a small "s" directly after the header to clear the cross bracing under the car. Other than those small problems, the Y was easy to weld up. I used a Flowmaster 3 inch merge to 3.5 inch, followed by a 3.5 inch cutout (with QTP mounted to it) followed by a 3.5 inch to 3 inch reducer to my Hooker cat back. Next time I get under the car, I will try to take some pics.
