Just for fun, I want to see if any of you have had encounters with 03+ Cobras and what kind of mods you've got. I really dont think that the LT1 is looked at as a contender for them by a lot of people. So lets hear it.
I'm hoping to be somewhat close at this pointm and really seal the deal with some gears and N2O.

Well there was this one time I raced a 570 RWHP kenne bell cobra. I spun and he got out about 4 cars.......... but I reeled him back in and beat him by a car
just 383 w/ stock heads, stock intake, cc306 cam, and a 200 shot

One of the guys that went to the track with us a couple weeks ago ran a 10.99 in an 03 Cobra on a 100 shot and more boost (not sure how much). I ran a 11.34 with mods in sig. I know I could have done better than him with a good trans/stall combo.

I have run a couple pullied cobra's and have come out ahead N/A. My buddy used to have an 03 Cobra, Apten ported(now the steigmeir port) eaton with a smaller pulley, kooks LT's etc... put down 520 rwhp pretty crazy car. I was hoping to run him and see where I faired, I am sure he would have got me N/A, but with the 150 shot it might have been fun He unfortunately does not have it anymore. I am hoping to maybe run into a whipple or KB one next year and spraying the 150. I would love to see the outcome.

Haven't ran into any yet...
96blkform you really have a sick looking formula, seeing yours was what made me buy the same rims. I have the same looking setup except it is a red formula without clear corners and why don't you ditch the license plate it looks so much cleaner.

I ran one several times at the track at Ennis last year. He was stock, running consistent 12.9's to 13.1's. I beat him pretty bad every time we lined up. He
also ran an 03' Z06 several times. They were neck and neck each time. Both cars were trapping at about 108-110.

I could give one a good run if it was stock, maybe a bolt on or two.
In some states like mine, for example, Front Plates are a law and they will give tickets in some neighborhoods... In the cities the cops have a little more to worry about then a license plate not on the front.

damn..they have front plate laws here..but they dont ever enforce them on the american cars...ever. You can just put it in your front window and say theres nowhere to put it on the front of the car.

Ive taken a couple with my old Z (simple bolt ons, cc305, 100 Dry shot, and stall) Took 2 of them out of hole they never caught me. 1 caught me sleeping and I had to run him down.
