I have a dumb cam question
What are the differences in a LT1 cam and a regular 350 smallblock cam, not in lift and duration but more like, will a SB350 cam fit in a LT1?

If it was a roller cam I'm sure it would. I'm sure you can run a solid roller if you wanted, but you would need different lifters and some other odds and ends I would say. But an LT1 is "BASICALLY" a SBC. Theres a few differences between the two that would not allow you to use other parts such as heads, intakes, water pump, but as far as the cam goes, I'd say you'd be alright.

Next set of questions, What lift are the stock valve springs good for? And what springs do you all recomend to replace them with? When do I need to be worried about the pushrods?

Only because the block isn't made for rollers, but get a roller retrofit kit and I'm pretty sure they can work. Since I was going to put an LT1 cam in my 82 block I have.
