Stereo & Electronics - Stock radio code

Hey I have a 2000 trans am and wondering if anyone knows the master code to unlock the monsoon radio.

That procedure is correct but the codes are outdated - try this one (http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5270330&postcount=2) instead. Where it says the "button" it means the star button - it just didn't display properly.

There is no "master" code to disable the radio TheftLock system.

or isnt it in the owners manual???

The instructions in the owner's manual assume you know the code you used to lock it in the first place. If you don't then you need to use the dealer's procedure as detailed above.
