Default cant figure out oil leak...please help..daily driver

Okay well the leak seems to be on the drivers side. Allthought there are some drops on the starter. SEEMS to be coming were the tranny and motor meets up. Thats where its all dripping from.

The valve cover was leaking but replaced the gasket and all is good with that now.

Car is just back from a motor rebuild.

Please help!

I bet its not the seal but the actual cover gasket for the rear. They most likely didn't tighten down the cover and the oil pan bolts in the right order and the cover isn't tight. The way I do it is to barely snug the cover bolts to the block and then tighten down the oil pan bolts that run into the rear cover. Then go back through it all and torque everything properly. Also check the rear main to see if they folded the inside of the seal putting it on. Thats very likely also.

I would bet it is something with the way they torqued the bolts down too
