well today i was driving and i was going over a road bump when suddenly I heard a huge scrapping noise. I knew then something was wrong. come to find out, the Bump ripped my exhaust back. Causing it to pull the turbo closer to the crank pulley and kinking my oil return line. my car was then smoking more then i have my hole life (pack every other day). It also felt like it lost power . Anyway if anyone has pics of where they are running theres that would be great. ill get some pics of mine soon!
THIS IS A REPLICA OF MY EXHUAST BUILT BY THE SAME GUY

Depending on which K, the motor mount will have to be moved, or relocated in order to fit the 4".

BMR K, Im going to have to move that motor mount further up the K in order to fit the 4" DP.

what the heckyou have a truck manafold kit and havent read the stickies or somthing?
comeon.
i thought you should know this.
ok first off mike brown has squeezed in a 5" downpipe throw his kmember on the passenger side using an aftermarket kmember (the ones with no motor mounts) by making his own custom solid motor mount on that side routed where the AC used to go, the driver side is a poly mount though.
I use a BMR kmember with the motor mount stands, and with some clearancing of the kmember and block i have a 4" downpipe through were the AC used to go (i have poly mounts)
the best thing for you if you want to have a big downpipe would to redesign your kit with the turbo facing the other way so the downpipe can exit the passenger side, it will also prevent the exhaust from going over the transmision later to be run back which give good overall clearance 9i have never bottomed out with the exhaust.
next if you dont want to completly redisign your kit it is possible to go over the kmember on the driver side, you will have to look up some threads on how the TTi kit routes theirs but you should only be able to get a 3" downpipe through there, but it can be down, all though your down pipe will be hard to make with all the turns and bends.

wow that would be sweet to do a 3.5 !!!! i would love that but i think im going to have to stick with the 3". for now i guess im going to get a porta power and bend the turbo back into place until my buddy can get me into his shop to flip the turbo around!
This means no more flattened exhaust under the k member which im assuming hurts the flow of the exhaust some what causing less hps!
by the way how hard is it to pull it apart once your done? i dont think that would be fun! with a 3.5 i bet it would be hell.
